People are traveling from different countries only to experience the great views, wild animals of iSimangaliso Wetland Park, and some resident hippos. The St Lucia town is small but contains everything you might need from offshore fishing to deep-sea fishing if you're a fish lover and multiple restaurants in town to choose your best dining for the evening after touring around. 



St Lucia town is very safe from what I have personally experienced, I even slept inside my car next to the Engine filling station and woke up around 2am only to find that the streets are empty and clean. No one disturbed me, but security vehicles were the only vehicles passing on the street every now and then. Safety is their first priority and CCTV installed on the entrance and remember there's only 1 entrance and exit road of which is road R618.
